The book contains twelve articles that refer to various aspects of the Soviet occupation of the eastern lands of the Second Polish Republic. Most of the texts deal with Soviet repressions against Polish citizens. Some describe representatives of national and religious minorities. Generally, all of them are devoted to issues that could not be the subject of reliable scientific research during the People’s Republic of Poland.
