Paragraph comics are a novelty on the Polish publishing market. The Publishing House of the Institute of National Remembrance and the Warsaw Rising Museum have jointly prepared such a publication on the 1944 Warsaw Uprising.
The modern formula allows the reader to become a participant in the real events unfolding on the streets of the capital. Because a paragraph comic is more than a typical comic book. You do not read it in the traditional way, but it gives the reader the opportunity to choose their own path, therefore it tells many different stories. During the reading, it is the reader who decides on the course of events, on the fate of characters, and who is an active participant in the important moments of insurgent Warsaw. Like in a paragraph game - each decision refers the reader to another paragraph, and there the story continues. It is up to the reader to decide how the plot will unfold. There are plenty of puzzles, ciphers and secret codes to solve, and perceptiveness will be rewarded. Importantly - you can always start reading from the beginning and make different decisions. A new story will then be told.
