Book description:
The documents in this volume, which come from the resources of the Polish Home Army Archive, the Polish Institute and the General Sikorski Museum in London, and which have been for the most part unpublished, reveal various aspects of political, social, economic and intellectual life in 1945 in post-Yalta Poland, as well as in the former Eastern Borderlands of the Second Polish Republic - especially valuable in relation to Vilnius and Lviv, which were key to Polish culture before the war.
