Book description:
Published as part of the Central Research Project: World War II and the occupation of Polish lands 1939-1944/45.
Despite the passage of years, historians are still undertaking research into the beginning of World War II. Relations between the Second Polish Republic and its then allies France and the United Kingdom were the subject of an international conference on “Poles and the British in the face of the outbreak of World War II”, organised by the Institute of National Remembrance, the Polish Embassy in London, the Polish Library and the Polish Home Army Archive. We invited Polish and British historians to collaborate. The conference took place on 27 and 28 September 2019 in London. This collection of scientific articles is its result.
