The volume includes documents regarding help provided to Jews by Poles in the Galicia district of the General Governorate and in Volhynia. Most of them are reports of witness interrogations prepared by employees of the Central Commission for the Investigation of Nazi Crimes in Poland. They show the various forms of help, in particular: preparing false documents, the transfer of food, temporary hiding, long-term hiding. Some of them contain information about the repressions suffered by those in hiding and those who rescued them from the Germans and their collaborators.
